I have red hair and light skin and grew up in the south a few miles from the Atlantic Ocean before sunscreen was even a product. I got seriously burned on a regular basis and thought the only consequence was temporary discomfort. 60 years later I know how much long term damage was being done as I've had to have actinic keratosis lesions frozen or treated with a variety of medicines for decades now. This product was recommended by a dermatologist 18 months ago and I'm now on my third container having found that daily applications on my face and hands apparently prevented further lesion development. I do wear work gloves, long sleeve shirts, and a wide brimmed hat outside but they were insufficient in preventing lesions before. It may be worth noting that I never used any type of moisturizer before so that could have been a contributing factor to my problems. Anyway, I highly recommend this product if you have similar skin damage!
