Shipping InformationSkin-Etc offers FREE domestic shipping via USPS Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation on all merchandise orders of $50 or more. For shipments totaling less than $50, there is a delivery charge of $5 via USPS Priority Mail or $7 via UPS Ground. Please be advised that we reserve the right to alter shipping method as we see fit. You will receive an email from us with a tracking number when your order is shipped. Please be informed that USPS does not offer remote tracking of parcels. The confirmation you receive from Skin-Etc can only be used to verify when a parcel was picked up from our warehouse and when it has been delivered. It is not used to track packages en route.
Continental US orders placed before 2:00 pm (CST) on weekdays, on in-stocks items, will ship the same day. Any order placed after 2:00 pm (CST) will ship the following business day. USPS deliveries occur Monday through Saturday, excluding holidays.
Priority Mail packages take about 1-3 business days to arrive at locations inside the United States. UPS Ground packages are delivered within 1-5 business days. Packages being delivered to Alaska, Hawaii, Puerto Rico and some small or rural towns may take a few more days to arrive. We can ship to Post Office Boxes and APO/FPO addresses as well for the same cost using USPS Priority Mail. For packages being shipped to APO/FPO addresses, USPS Priority Mail must be selected. Please check with your local post office to find out what the delivery time will be from the state of Texas.
USPS orders experience a range of delivery times. Most orders are delivered quickly but USPS delivery time depends on distance and internal USPS factors and therefore cannot be guaranteed. However, USPS delivery can take as long as 14 days, regardless of destination. If your order has not arrived 14 days after receiving your shipping confirmation, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Your order will be shipped to the address that was given. If a package is returned to us because of a wrong or incomplete address, the customer is responsible for another shipping fee to have the order shipped again. Otherwise, the order is treated as a return and the 10% processing fee applies.
PLEASE NOTE: It may take the carrier 24 HOURS to update its records with your tracking information. It is possible that you will not be able to track your package with the carrier within the first 24 hours after shipment, since the carrier may not have scanned the package into their system yet. Shipment movement information is captured each time a tracking label is scanned by the carrier's delivery system.
If your order contains one or more items that are NOT qualified for Free Shipping, including samples, you will be charged shipping fees for those ineligible items.
If you need to have your package delivered quicker, you may choose USPS Express Mail or UPS Next Day Air for overnight shipping. Some destinations in the United States do not qualify for overnight shipping and will arrive in 2 days by USPS Express Mail. A signature is required at the time of delivery unless shipping instructions are provided with your order. "Please leave package at door." is a typical shipping instruction. Delivery may be delayed if no one is available to sign for a package. We are not responsible for a lost package if signature is waived. Express delivery fees are NOT refundable.
Express shipping is not available for APO/FPO addresses.
We use the United States Postal Service (USPS) and FedEx for all international orders. USPS Global Express Mail and FedEx International Priority Mail typically take about 2-5 business days to arrive, but can take up to 3 weeks. If your package is stopped by customs, we can't guarantee how long it takes for them to notify you of its arrival. International shipping cost for your package is determined by the size and weight of the products that you are purchasing and destination country. During checkout, you will have the opportunity to view your shipping charges before the order is finalized.
Duties and taxes are due upon receipt of an international order and are the responsibility of the recipient. Please check with your local authorities to see if you will have to pay customs, tariffs, or any other types of import fee. The majority of packages that we ship overseas will not be subject to any additional taxes, but occasionally customs may stop a package and ask that a fee be paid. We have no way of knowing what the policy is for each country.
If you are shipping a gift, please let someone know a package will be coming so it will not be refused. If a package is returned to us the customer will be billed for the shipment and the return shipment.
