Severe Problem Nails:
Remove all nail polish. Apply ELON 4 times daily. (More if desired). ELON Nail Conditioner should be massaged into the entire nail, cuticle, and matrix area (the skin area behind the cuticle where new nails form). Continue to use the conditioner 4 times daily until nails are at the desired strength and health. (Note: It takes approximately 6 months to completely grow out new nails).
Mild Problem Nails:
Apply the conditioner 2-4 times daily. (More if desired). Follow directions above. Once nails are at the desired strength and health, follow the maintenance below.
Maintaining Healthy Nails: Apply conditioner once or twice daily. If using nail polish be sure to rub the conditioner into the cuticles and the matrix area. This will help the cuticle and aid new nail growth.
Hints: When using nail polish remover, apply ELON before applying nail polish. Due to the alcohol contained in polish remover (and sustained use to nail polish), loss of moisture can occur. Application of ELON helps to restore this loss. Allow time for ELON to be absorbed before re-applying nail polish.
